Mandarin can be so annoying at times.
There are those who make a conscious effort to speak in English when you're around.
And.. There are those who simply can't be bothered.

Next year I'm going to take Chinese 1 as my elective. Squash all of you! GRRR.

Facebook has ruined my life. I wake up.. I facebook. I get tired from facebooking so I go and take a nap. When I wake up, I take a shower to wake myself up. And when I come back from the toilet, I facebook again. Then it is time for dinner. I eat, I come back and shower cos the dining hall is humid like hell. Then I facebook for a while.. and I have to go for meetings. When I come back from meetings, I need to harvest my farmville crops. Then I get sleepy again. So I sleep.... And it is like this everyday. Plus minus the lessons in between.

Work is piling up. Darylyn's just feeling lost. I know... Simple.. Stop facebooking and start your work!! Grr.

Stuck at home day 4? I lost track alr. Haha.
All I do is sleep, wake up, eat then sleep again.

So D&D is over, our table's theme was so influenced by my love for pet society.
My pet Twisties recently bought a toga on Pet Society and that's how we got the idea of wearing Togas and going to D&D as a bunch of greek gods/commoners.

According to Hannah, our costumes were gonna be a complete flop, but of course it didn't la. Our costumes were all so pretty :)
So happy, so pretty. I like.

I missed Amerie's Bday Party for dnd. Dang. And I thought I wished her, but i didn't. Dang. How horrible can I be. I'm sorry LOML, you know I love you right? :D HAPPY BIRTHDAY LOML. Mary Jane loves you. Moo moo loves you. What else am I huh?

oh about exams, they were horrid. Only thai was fun to do, the rest were... blahh. But still, Darylyn has to get cap 4.7 to be part of the 5GB 14.1 pimplepackers. If not no more cheers on D2.

So the reason why I decided to type some stuff here was my incredibly weird dream..

Okay here it is

First my mother woke me up in the morning before she went to work,
then she brought me to her room and made me put on sunglasses.

Then she gave me a lecture about how creatures from outer space come to earth by neuron-like connections........
then when i looked up on the ceiling there were seriously..
MULTI -COLOURED INSECT-LIKE CREATURES emerging from their cocoons...
Like so Eww but so astonishingly unbelievable.

So, I dreamt that I told Mr Koh about it and he was like "YA, DIDN'T YOU KNOW?!?!?!"
So retarded right.
Then I woke up.. and realised my mother wasn't even in Singapore so it could never be real...
OMG. I actually believed it was true eh.

So spastic.

Anyway school's starting tomorrow, school. Oh glorious school! Woohoo! blah.
But I currently have no lessons on monday and friday!! I hope I can cram everything in just 3 days.
booboobooboobooboo. Life sucks.
I've been sick since christmas! HOW EXCITING RIGHT...

So, tomorrow's the day my holiday ends. Somewhat..

I have some meeting at 9pm on a Sunday. A SUNDAY. I don't know about others but for myself sunday is somewhat an untouchable day. A day you spend at home with your family. But ya it doesn't really matter to them does it? Aiya why am I complaining, my parents are in Sri Lanka now anyway. But I really don't get some of the stuff that goes on, the rationale behind it and the whole purpose. Some things are really redundant and seem just like a way to make people busy. Enjoyable? Not really..

And I really don't know what special thing to put into the closing ceremony? I already added in a band performance and like even queer awards for unexpected winners?? I don't know! And now I'm doing this all by myself. ROAR.

Anyway my family holiday was great while it lasted. If only the world would just stop. But no, the world doesn't stop for you honey so open your eyes and begin the battle.

My birthday was yay.

My sister's birthday was yesterday! I baked her a brownie cake and I didn't have candles so I used a satay stick.

The day before was spent at zonghan's doing some poster exhibition thingy for ERC. Its really really super pretty la. Like ultra colourful and pretty. Okay anyway on the first day we had to wait like 4 hours for the photos to develop.. So... we went to a secret place and we caught many little shrimps and lobsters!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Omg, seriously I love catching stuff. Like fishing and all. Okay I've never gone fishing but I imagine that I would have fun. And so we kept them in a little container, the 3 lobsters and many many tiny shrimp. So Miss Gwee brought them home and the next day she gave it to zonghan. Haha, the reason being : the shrimp were dying and she didn't want the rest to die, aww. so cute right. And when we were at zonghan's house, the stupid energetic lobsters kept disappearing from the container and the reappearing on the floor or on the table. So cute la.

Another thing, I have this cold sore on my lip, it hurts so bad ):

Okay so next week we're going to bond in Malaysia while climbing a mountain. Seriously. Okay la I hope it'll be fun. The only part I'm actually looking forward to is the food after the trip. Seriously. Roar. I hope my da yi ma doesn't come. I'll be the grumpiest girl in the world if that happens.

I wanna watch fireworks. I wanna go to underwater world. I wanna go catch prawns and lobsters!

I'm waiting for my shoes and vests and bags and instant noodles and all sorts of stuff to come home! Oh ya, and Mr Koh of course. Haha.

And so it is..

Life has become a chore.
A super shitty chore that i can't stand anymore.
Someone asked me today, "why are you always so happy and energetic?"

Fact is, I'm so sick and tired of everything.
Everything from assignments to the meetings and to hall food.
Happy and energetic my arse...

Another thing bothering me. Is that I'm just treated as a back up plan.
A substitute.. And all the shit just falls onto my shoulders.
How the hell do they expect me to clean up the mess?

Now they want me to stay till saturday.. I was thinking of going home tomorrow straight after training.
But now there's a meeting at 11 and some weird thing on saturday. SATURDAY?!
I don't know what it is.. but do all hall people love staying over the weekends?

I wanna go home and drink Mother Cat's soup :(

At least there are some things to keep the cycle going.

Besides the occasional reunion with Hornies, there's still some nice people around.

Long time no see oh dear livejournal account of mine.
The first week of school has passed. Now I'm into the second week which is getting kind of dreary. Which sucks because I still have 4 years to go stuck with this routine! All the JC teachers insist that "once you've gone through 'A' Levels, Uni life will be a BREEZE for you!" My say on that statement, NONSENSE! Now kids, not EVERYTHING your teacher says is true okay!

But of course there are positive parts of my brief life in NUS so far. My formal hall dinner, rag&flag 08 and my hall bash! Not forgetting the morning breakfasts and dinners with my people in the supposedly newly renovated dining hall?!! I can't imagine what it looked like before renovation. Must have been a mess.

I guess I'm coping well with the rubbish life's been throwing at me lately. My dear Mother Cat, lessons, IBG this week.. Hahaha, I'm Handball captain and I have no clue on how to play Handball. Shit la. And apparently I'm playing netball, basketball, football, floorball, touch rugby and all the funny ball games which I HATE. Screw all the balls in the world.

Anyway, dear Darylyn is sick again. Went to the doctor at YIH yesterday and I have a cool throat infection! WOOHOO!
And my dad won't let me visit my Mum until I get better. So get better Darylyn!!! Like REAL soon, cos you're wanna visit her tomorrow!

Anyway, my uncle just dropped me off from the hospital.
I just reached my room, brushed my teeth and washed my face.
and now I'm typing this.
Tomorrow's the first day of lectures in school and today something unpleasant happens.
Rahhh.

The past few weeks have been highly eventful.
There was the Eusoff Hall Orientation Camp, in my humble opinion, quite dull.
But I got to know quite a few nice people.
I'm seriously sick of the cheese prata shop.
